Carolyn Kitto has a passion for the mission of the Church and a reputation for helping congregations move forward in a relaxed way. She has been in fulltime ministry for 30 years. Her focus areas include:

  • strategic mission planning with local and regional church to help them connect and minister in their emerging contexts, cultures and realities
  • mission finance planning that helps churches grow cultures of generosity that resource the mission to which God has called them to
  • working for justice by engaging issues of global poverty and bringing change in our lives for the sake of the poor

Carolyn is energetic and skilled in group facilitation and one-on-one work. In the area of planning Carolyn has worked as a consultant, in one on one training and has led workshops with hundreds of congregations throughout the world. She has served as a consultant for a number of denominational agencies. She is the author of Growing Generous Givers and various community worship resources published by MediaCom.

Carolyn is a sought after speaker for conferences and events. She has a style that is particularly engaging and informative.

Among the many roles that Carolyn has filled within the wider church she has been on the board of the Australian National Church Life Survey, the Panel of Reference for Micah Challenge (Australia), and is co-chair of the board for Soul Survivor (NSW/ACT). She has been in staff of the Uniting Church, the National Council of Churches in Australia, the Australian Anglican Board of Mission, and World Vision Australia.

Her passion for serving the poor and justice has also seen her chair the working group for Voices for Justice  a four day advocacy and campaigning event for young adults.

Along with Fuzz, she is executive pastor of English Ministry at Cheil Uniting Church.

She lives either on Qantas aircraft or in Sydney Australia in a Christian household. Married to Fuzz she is the co-parent their two dogs Banni and Mo.
